| In this paper, a “tuning -knob-based ” heuristic CAD procedure for self-tuning control system which is very suited for an expert system development is proposed. Tuning rules for some common ”tunig-knobs” are discussed. Based on this, a prototype implementation of an expert system which acts as an intelligent front end for a self-tuning control system CAD package (SELFPAC, written in C) is developed in Turbo-Prolog. |
