| This paper examines the problem of observing the state of fluid pipeline transients. First, the partial differential equations are transformed into discrete space, discrete time nonlinear difference equations through characteristic method and finite difference approach. Secondly, the convergence conditions of the observer are discussed. Finally, a Luenberger-type observer is designed and simulation results are included. |
