| Analysis and modeling for a Color-Picture-Tube (CPT) glass furnace have been done without any great influence on the normal operating conditions. Then, the modified PID control, feedforward compensation and decoupling, nonlinear compensation and self-tuning control etc. have been used for different loops of plant, and therefore, the furnace has been controlled effectively. A microcomputer Intel 86/330A with a real-time operating system iRMX86 and language PL/M-86 is used to implement the on-line computer control. The software package of the computer control system consists of many modules, which has a reasonable configuration, and can be developed easily. Operation results indicate that the system provides a significant economic effect on the product quality, fuel consumption and furnace life. |
