| A new algorithm for scheduling of hydro power systems with cascaded reservoirs within the Lagrange relaxation framework is presented in this paper. The algorithm can systematically consider discon-tinuous operating regions,discrete operating constraints such as minimum up/down times and hydraulic cou-pling of reservoirs. Numerical testing ba8ed on the data of a practical power system shows that the algorithm is efficient and practical. |
