| In this paper we study the strong controllability and strong observability of generalized dynamical systems. Specifically, Kronecker`s theory on matrix pencils and the minimal bases of rational vector space are used to investigate the relationship between strong controllability and minimal indices of the system matrix. By duality the corresponding results on strong observability are also obtained. Finally, the necessary and sufficient condition for strong irreducibility is given. |
