| The generalized predictive control based on the CARIMA model has recently been developed by Clarke and his co-workers. However the noise power of the CARIMA process tends to infinity as it tends to infinity. Hence we have developed a new predictive controller based on the ARMAX model. The new predictive controller is robust enough. Some numerical illustrations are given. |
